Yummy, yummy, yummy I have love in my tummy
So I now have my life back! I had Sat-Thursday off! It was sooo good to just spend some time at my new home pottering about and doing some more unpacking.
I now have a herb garden which is great. A few pots with basil, parsley, thyme and sage. All the basics for the type of cooking I like to do.
That's another upside of my move, I am getting back into my cooking. It's such a therapeutic thing, to cook for someone. I think what I really get from cooking is the enjoyment my friends and family get from the food I cook.
Of recent times I had Matt, Maggie, Aaron his date Jasmine and Tony over for dinner. I was quite proud of the lovely lamb dish I cooked, it was really nice. It was that kind of good quality wholesome homely food. The I made an 'adult' trifle. I made the custard from scratch and it had lots of liqueur muscat in it. The only thing was everyone was to full from the lamb to have dessert. Well everyone but me, I always have room for dessert!
Then a few days after this Tony and I made pizza from scratch. The next day I had my Mum over for lunch, she loved it!
Mum is funny, she keeps saying to me 'It's sooo nice to come to YOUR house!'. I think she never felt totally comfortable dropping by the North Freo house. I gave her some spare keys 'just in case' to my new place and she's as pleased as punch to be able to come over and let herself in ( not that she would). Mum's are funny creatures.

I'm not sure I said how much I enjoyed the lamb and potatoes they were wicked.
Jasmine and I didn't work out by the way, she was just way too quiet.
Bit of an airhead? Hehe.
