I know, I know!

Ok, so I'm ready to be on the defensive here. People judge so easily based purely on society and social constraints, but you know what? Fuck it all! Sometimes you just have to listen to your heart. I have wasted so much time with the wrong people, why should I waste any more time when the right one comes along?

So that said: Tony has moved in. Yup, not even 2 months and we're shacked up!!

I think I am old enough to know when to listen to my heart as well as my head. I haven't felt more sure about anything in a long time. Oh and on that note, I am also deleriously happy!

Yummy, yummy, yummy I have love in my tummy

So I now have my life back! I had Sat-Thursday off! It was sooo good to just spend some time at my new home pottering about and doing some more unpacking.

I now have a herb garden which is great. A few pots with basil, parsley, thyme and sage. All the basics for the type of cooking I like to do.

That's another upside of my move, I am getting back into my cooking. It's such a therapeutic thing, to cook for someone. I think what I really get from cooking is the enjoyment my friends and family get from the food I cook.

Of recent times I had Matt, Maggie, Aaron his date Jasmine and Tony over for dinner. I was quite proud of the lovely lamb dish I cooked, it was really nice. It was that kind of good quality wholesome homely food. The I made an 'adult' trifle. I made the custard from scratch and it had lots of liqueur muscat in it. The only thing was everyone was to full from the lamb to have dessert. Well everyone but me, I always have room for dessert!

Then a few days after this Tony and I made pizza from scratch. The next day I had my Mum over for lunch, she loved it!

Mum is funny, she keeps saying to me 'It's sooo nice to come to YOUR house!'. I think she never felt totally comfortable dropping by the North Freo house. I gave her some spare keys 'just in case' to my new place and she's as pleased as punch to be able to come over and let herself in ( not that she would). Mum's are funny creatures.

I want my life back!

It's week 5 of being a team manger, and I'VE HAD ENOUGH!! In this last week I have had to deal with a resignation, a termination, look after 2 teams for about 3 days, and a team member who's daughter has tried to commit suicide and most recently tried to run away. I just felt sick for her, the poor, poor woman! What do you say?

I found out yesterday one of my team members is a dominatrix and has been heard speaking to customers in a 'domineering' way. How the hell do I deal with that? Also one of the 'old school' managers hates me because I got her in trouble for being a lazy cow. Stupid lazy cow!

I didn't appreciate how great the amount of time I had free was until now where I don't have any. I don't get home most nights until about 9pm, so I have had absolutely no social life. Poor Tony only gets to see me late at night, and consequently is totally sleep deprived.

So this is my last week of these hours, and although I go back to my normal hours next week I'm still managing the team. I'll just be glad to have some time to go couch shopping! I'm still sitting on a foam mattress on the floor. However I did get a washing machine and a Dyson vacuum cleaner the other day. Clean clothes! Yay!

Capel on the weekend was lovely. It's always sooo relaxing! You just have no choice but to do nothing. We ate lots, drank lots, swam lots and talked crap lots. All in all it was a really nice weekend. The only downside to the weekend was I had to babysit on Sunday night. BUT that means I have FINALLY 'worked off' my Summerdayze tickets. Next up I'll have to ask about Future music festival tickets.
