Chewing the fat
Today was day 3 of my diet, I'm doing lite and easy again. It's one of those pre-packaged food type things. All the food is pretty nice really, I feel like I'm constantly eating, so I'm not ever hungry. Stopping eating after dinner is always my challenge. Despite all the food during the day and the fact I'm not actually hungry, I still crave sweet food at night. I've been a night time sweet tooth my whole life and have always struggled to stop eating after dinner.
I made some rice pudding, just a simple one with skim milk, brown sugar and a couple of vanilla pods. I figure as far as desserts go it's not too calorific, and it's certainly low fat. I also cooked up some apples with cinnamon and cloves to have with it.
I'm supposed to be doing 9km of the Perth marathon with Emma next weekend. I'm feeling a little stressed about it. In the last month the only exercise I have done is one 4 km run which almost killed me! I'm sooo unfit right now. Probably the most unfit I have been in about a year and a half.
I'm really chomping at the bit to get on my bike again. I went to visit Ben the other day and he fixed my broken bike for me the sweet heart. Both my wheels were a mess, not to mention my new bike seat was ripped and bent at an odd angle and my gears all scratched up. It's still not pretty, but at least it's safe and rideable again. Yay!!
