Kicking ass

Today I went for another run wanting to do about 9/9.5 km and somehow managed to run 11.8km!!...The Freo fun run is in the bag!

Once you hit the 5km mark it's all smooth sailing.

I guess what people don't realise is that until 5km you probalby haven't hit your stride. I know after 5km I get into rhythm and it's pretty smooth sailing after that. Now after about 4-5km if I don't get too many distractions (stopping for cars etc) I can quite happily trot 8-10km without any hassle.

So yes now that you have surpassed 10km the trick is not the let it take over your life :) muahah :)

Well I plan to keep building on the distance I can run, but the thing is where does it stop?

Your right about the 5km mark, it does take you till about then to get into it

Another great acheivement today was discovering how to stop long runs hurting my boobs...2 bras and 2 bandaids!

But can you defend yourself against a punch to the ovaries? :P If you haven't seen the movie it might sound mean, but I promise it's totally hilarious :P

Seriously though good stuff. There were some posts on coolrunning.com forums about sports bras and stuff especially for the big boobed wonders of the world :)
