City to surf
My knees hurt like hell, I am hobbling like an old woman. My hip is painful, my muscles ache and I keep getting muscle cramps in my calves. On the up side I'm so high on endorphins Tony is having a hard time keeping up with me.
So the aim for me was not so much to do a good time, but just to do it. Mission accomplished, I did it, I ran the whole thing even the hills. It took me an hour and a half...talk about slow! According to my HR monitor I burnt 1090 calories!! wow!!
Poor Ben who was getting a lift back and up the hill to Renee's birthday had to wait around for me. By the time I was done and found him he was shivering in his wet running clothes. Poor boy has not an ounce of fat on him to keep him warm. I found my bag with my jumper, which I gave to Ben. My jumper is a lovely shade of super-girly pink. He looked just fetching in it! hehe
Lunch in the hills was nice, but I was a little too pooped to be very conversational. We gave Renee a beautiful tajine from a freo pottery artist. She loved it, so that was wicked.
So now I am putting in some quality day bed time, things thing has totally paid for itself!!

Mission accomplished :) Well done!
Good work! When we met Mark he was shivering and had blue lips, but he was okay :P I think everyone was very happy that Adam and I had put a car there with heating.
I was somewhat happy with my performance and one thing that surprised me was how quickly it went vs last year. I remember running through Perry Lakes wonderign when this thing was going to f*cking end! This year it was like ... oh, is that all!
Good work on running the whole way and achieving your goals! High five.
High six!
